Return and Refund Policy

This Return and Refund Policy ("Policy") governs returns, exchanges, and refunds for products purchased through retrosleague.com (the "Site"), operated by Retros League ("we," "us," or "our"). By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to the terms set forth below.
This Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service, Shipping Policy, and Purchase Options Cancellation Policy.
1. Overview
We offer three distinct resolution paths, each with its own terms:
- Manufacturing defects — replacement of the defective item, governed by Section 2;
- Size exchanges — exchange for a different size, governed by Section 3;
- Buyer's remorse / change of mind — store credit, governed by Section 4.
The applicable path depends on the reason for the request and is determined at our sole discretion based on the evidence provided.
2. Manufacturing Defects
If a product arrives with a manufacturing defect, the customer is entitled to a free replacement of the same item, subject to the following conditions:
- The defect must be reported by email to retrosleague@gmail.com within seven (7) calendar days of the delivery date confirmed by the carrier's tracking system, with the subject line "DEFECT" followed by the order number.
- The customer must provide clear photographs and, when relevant, a short video clearly showing the defect, the product, and any visible packaging. Requests submitted without sufficient visual evidence will not be processed.
- The customer is not required to return the defective item. The replacement will be shipped at no cost to the customer after our team confirms that the reported issue qualifies as a manufacturing defect.
- The determination of whether an issue constitutes a manufacturing defect is made at our sole discretion. Issues resulting from misuse, normal wear, improper care, accidental damage, or alterations made by the customer do not qualify.
- If the same product is no longer available in stock, we will offer, at our sole discretion, either a replacement with a comparable item or a full refund of the product price to the original payment method.
Reports submitted after the seven (7) day window will not be considered under this section.
3. Size Exchanges
Customers who wish to exchange a product for a different size may do so under the following conditions:
- The exchange must be requested by email to retrosleague@gmail.com within seven (7) calendar days of the delivery date, with the subject line "EXCHANGE" followed by the order number.
- The product must be returned in its original condition: unused, unwashed, with all original tags and packaging intact, and free of any signs of wear, odor, or alteration.
- Return shipping is the sole responsibility of the customer. The customer must use a trackable shipping method and provide the tracking number by email. We are not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.
- The replacement item will be shipped at no additional cost to the customer once the returned product is received and inspected at our facility.
- Exchanges are subject to availability. If the requested size is no longer in stock, we will offer, at our sole discretion, an alternative size, store credit equal to the product value, or a refund to the original payment method.
- Exchanges are limited to one (1) per order. Items received as exchanges are not eligible for further exchange or return.
4. Buyer's Remorse and Change of Mind
Customers who wish to return a product due to dissatisfaction, change of mind, or any reason other than a manufacturing defect may do so under the following conditions:
- The return must be requested by email to retrosleague@gmail.com within seven (7) calendar days of the delivery date, with the subject line "RETURN" followed by the order number.
- The product must be returned in its original condition: unused, unwashed, with all original tags and packaging intact, and free of any signs of wear, odor, or alteration.
- Return shipping is the sole responsibility of the customer. The customer must use a trackable shipping method and provide the tracking number by email. We are not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.
- Upon receipt and inspection of the returned product at our facility, an approved return will be reimbursed exclusively as store credit, equal to the product value paid by the customer. Store credit does not expire and may be used on any future purchase on the Site.
- Cash refunds are not issued for buyer's remorse returns. This includes returns motivated by change of mind, dissatisfaction with style, color preference, fit (other than size exchange under Section 3), or any subjective reason.
5. Inspection and Approval
All returned items are subject to inspection upon arrival at our facility. We reserve the right to refuse any return that does not meet the conditions stated in this Policy. Items refused will be returned to the customer at the customer's expense, or, if reshipment cannot be arranged within thirty (30) days, disposed of without further notice.
6. Refund Processing (Manufacturing Defects Only)
In the limited cases where a refund is issued (as described in Section 2), refunds are processed exclusively to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. Processing times vary by payment provider and may take up to fourteen (14) business days to appear on the customer's statement after approval. We do not control the timing of refund settlement by payment processors or card issuers.
We do not issue refunds via alternative payment methods, third parties, or bank accounts not associated with the original transaction.
7. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund under any circumstances, except where a verified manufacturing defect applies:
- Items marked as "Final Sale" at the time of purchase;
- Items purchased with promotional discount codes exceeding a threshold disclosed at checkout, when explicitly stated as non-returnable;
- Items that have been worn, washed, altered, or damaged after delivery;
- Items returned without prior authorization from our team;
- Items returned after the applicable time window stated in Sections 2, 3, or 4.
8. Promotional and Discounted Items
Items purchased using a discount code, promotional coupon, or as part of a bundle, sale, or special offer are eligible for return or exchange only as store credit, equal to the actual amount paid by the customer (not the original list price). Cash refunds are not available for items purchased under any promotional condition, except in the case of a verified manufacturing defect.
9. Address for Returns
The return address will be provided by our team only after the return request has been reviewed and approved by email. Items shipped without prior authorization or to any address other than the one provided by our team will not be processed and will not be eligible for refund, exchange, or store credit.
10. Lost or Undeliverable Returns
The customer bears full responsibility for the return shipment until it is received and signed for at our facility. We are not liable for return packages that are lost, delayed, damaged, or returned to sender during transit. We strongly recommend using a trackable and insured shipping method.
11. Order Cancellations
Cancellation of orders prior to shipment is governed by our separate Purchase Options Cancellation Policy. Once an order has been shipped, it is no longer eligible for cancellation and must be processed under this Policy.
12. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify, update, or replace this Policy at any time and at our sole discretion. The version in effect at the time of your purchase governs that specific transaction. Continued use of the Site following any modification constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
